Guest JonnyB
I'm looking for my first supra atm and i'm just wondering.. Whats the biggest size wheels that you can get on a supra without rolling the arches? Obvously using low profile tyres. I see allot with 18" wheels and i think i saw 1 with 19's but not sure if they was a normal fit. Thanks for your help.
Ian R
19's will fit but after 18's you start compromising handling IMO
jamesmark
The Supra came with 17's (16's on a n/a) the stock 17's offer the best handling, 18's are of but depends on the offset. 19's make the car handle all wrong but some people will say it doesn't. I went from 19's down to 18's and I noticed a difference. With my current supra I am returning to stock. I would not go any bigger that 18's and watch the offset, you have to get as close to +50 offset as possible.

Hmm the supra i'm looking at in a couple of days has bbs 18's, and i've never driven one with stock wheels before, do you think i should try to find a second hand set of stock wheels and give those a try on it just to see what i like best? Stock 17" wheels can be found and bought with tyres for less than £300, before you drive it on 17" you have to get the alignment done properly (each time you change wheels and sizes you are always best to get this done). Try both I say if you like them keep them on and if not keep them and use them as winter wheels and keep your other wheels for summer use, at least then you have not lost anything.
