kslb
Just a quick question. I have aquired a new windscreen but it has a different bonded bit for the rear view mirror so my mirror doesn't fit! Is this a common thing? Is it easy to get the right mirror? I don't want to start cutting bits off and trying to bond old bits onto the new windscreen and toyota say its the only one they have listed! Havard
I had a new windscreen back in the summer. The windscreen from Toyota had the correct fitting already on it and the guy from Autoglass just put my mirror straight on. My car is facelift but I doubt there would be any difference! Where did you have the new screen fitted? Was it an insurance job? H.
kslb
Not an insurance job and not a facelift. My facelift Supe does have the same fitting as the new windscreen but the NA doesn't. I suppose I could swap the mirrors to get the MOT and then try and source a second hand facelift rear view mirror.
