Homer Posted January 14, 2008 Share Posted January 14, 2008 A cost effective install is to get an LS1 (5.7 V8) cut-out from the states (includes engine, 6spd gearbox, ecu and loom), they're about $5k plus shipping and tax. 350bhp out of the box, with massive potential for power increases. LS2 (6.0 V8) with a 6spd box is about $10k, LS7 (7.0 V8) about $15k. Yeah it's the LS9 in the upcoming ZR1, I've read on various sites there are to be two or three stages of tune available, 620 to 699bhp (From Chevy direct). I don't think they've released full details yet, but the base models are quoted as being 620bhp.
