kieren1234
Hi all. Everytime i open the boot on the supra, masses of water starts to pour into the boot and it is coming from under the plastic trim inside the car. My gut feeling is that water is getting through the holes that the bolts on the spoiler go through. Does anyone eklse have this problem. also, it isn't the water that sits on the boot lid as i clear this off before opening the boot. Many thanks for any help. kieren1234
also, because of this problem, the car is really wet inside and windows are always misted up. How do i get rid of this, is it a case of heaters on, windows open?
flukey-lukey
hmm, have you checked your rear window seal? I'm guessing because of its age the rubber has started to perish and is leaking water in.
Mike M
My last sup did exactly the same and I traced the leak back to the top passenger corner of the seal. It would run down the inside of the window and collect in the plastic trim rusting out the heater element coils. Fixed it with loads of silicon under the rubber lip on the outside.
