Hi all...

I will be coming over to the UK from France next week to buy a supra...

my choices are :

1996 GZ with 41000 miles,...around 9500

a 1997 RZ_S VVTI, 68000 miles ..... around 11500

a 1998 RZ-S VVTI, 84000 miles ...around 10500

all the above are auto, full service history, and relatively stock..

I am new to supra's...

so...

any advice or comments welcome..

thanks..

depends what sort of car your used to, and what your plans are with it, will you be looking for a lot more power through modifying it, or do you plan to keep stock, are you used to auto,s and prefer them over the 6 speed box, there are a lot of bargains around at this time of the year

thanks for the above...

I am looking for an auto, fairly stock, as it has to go through the french tests for registration here...I would be doing a BPU at some later stage ..but it will never go above 400bhp

the GZ is on ebay now..

the VVTI' are both in the classified section on this site...

I am really wondering about the VVTI + tiptronic+higher milage vs the lower milage non VVTI ...

Forget it bud. There's only £2000 difference between all 3 cars Both the VVTI's are excellent cars.

Don't worry about the mileage either. These cars go for big mileage without a problem.:)

Good luck.

AGHHH ... after much research about french rules for importing...it now seems that the easiest route to go down is with a UK spec TT, as it has the COC required for an easy-ish re-registration in france....its an absolute nightmare to try and get a japanese import re-registered over here...involving long and expensive tests.....

so ... I am now looking frantically for a UK spec car....
