new speakers needed

singing away in my car the ther day stereo really loud and i blew the standard door speakers.
any suggestions on a new set would like good sound but no amps or anything as i am not that into it anymore.

I would also be interested to hear about this. My stock speakers sound absolutely awful - I have the 17cm adaptors and a good head unit but don't want an amp any more, this is going to be a track car eventually!

What speakers would be good without an amp, just slotting straight in?

i have a member sending me some pioneers they should fit straight in i will let you know what they are like

dont have these in the supra so can give you def answer there, had them in my SQ car
but in that they were direct fit but they also had
custom speaker pods built.
