If you were to fit 2 skinny space savers to the back of a supra, would you notice a big increase in it's ability to drive in snow? I'm thinking thinner tyres + more pressure per square inch etc. Not exactly performance stuff, but might be useful if it chucks it down with snow and you're left stranded somewhere (like in a work car park). Down to about 15psi or lower if they'll take it without collapsing. Even better if they're snow tyres with lots of sipes to grip on the soft snow. CarlT67 Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 I know that with the thinner tyres you will cut through the surface soft snow quicker and make you way down to the harder packed stuff which will give a little more grip, but with the space saver tread pattern you will probably still be struggling....!
