I've got a light in my hallway and it has fairy light type bulbs.

I've somehow managed to blow the adapter.:(

It is an AC-AC ADAPTOR
The input is 230-240V~50-60Hz
The output is 24V~15VA

Does anyone know where I can get another one of these??

It has a 3 prong plug that goes into the socket, but the wire on the light fitting is 2 little prongs. (Hope this makes sense if not I can take a photo and put it on).

Thanks

Lynz :)

Maplins Clicky (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?TabID=1&ModuleNo=96964&doy=28m12) comes with lots of different types of plugs as well.

I think so the adapters from Maplins look like they'll do the job.

There is a choice of 3 from Maplins do you know whether it'll definitely be the 24v one (at 14.99) that I'll need?

Thanks

yeh go like for like at it will be ok, if you start trying to change things then you are likely to get more problems later on.

although the voltages are small still dont try getting a 9volt one it'll just blow again

just a quick question how did you manage to do it in the first place????????

Well I was "trying" to be clever.

I lost my adapter for my fibre optic xmas tree and the fitting looked the same for both, obviously the tree was a higher voltage than the light and frazzled my adaptor.:(

Ooops!!

Thanks for your help
