Connery, followed by Daniel Craig.
Moore was the worst Bond.
From people i know i expect Connery to win, i think Craig will be a good Bond in time.
Connery followed by Brosnan for me, both quite edgy.

Agreed. He certain silenced the critics when the movie was finally released.

Moore, Connery close second :)
craig is not how ian fleming described bond, he is too macho and blast everything. the old bond's were not like that.

Are you on drugs??
Moore was a different class.....;)

Can we at least agree Dalton should be shot? He was the weediest Bond ever, total wuss.

what about david niven?
Moore is the best for me
Alot of people don't like Moore as they think he is too tongue in cheek, and not obviously HARD enough, thing is that all adds to character.

He only did one film though didn't he?
Personally I think he should have been forced through a cheese grater after being peeled with a hot spoon....;)
Connery
well your gonna say that being scottish

Yeah he was in the sh!t class, the only good thing about any film that Moore has had a lead role in was the end credits.

Not at all, if this question was asked after Craig had maybe done a few more Bond films then I woudl vote Craig.

Harsh my Scottish friend, unfortunately I can't slag off Connery as I thought he was just as good!!;)

I just ain't a fan or Moore, and not just his Bond outings.

i dont think craigs right for bond, i think timmy dalton was a good one but not as good as moore and connory as i see this as the originals (i know there was one before them but i dont count him)
Brosnan for me. He totally revitalised the series
I like Moore mainly because he was Bond when I was young. I really didn't like Brosnan but I think that was maybe because the films started getting really stupid with invisible cars etc. Licence to Kill is still my favourite, again mainly because it's more believable.

two films actually! what about George Lazenby???? He only did one...but thats one more than me!
One of my favourite characters in Bond, is Sheriff J.W. Pepper (Live & let die & Man with the golden gun) fu*k he is funny.
Pierce for me and Goldeneye as one of the best films. Think Daniel Craig will make the best series overall though, due to the new gritty style which I prefer. Moore was rubbish, yet some of his were very good films.

My actual favourite was not on the poll. George Lazenby who only did the one - On Her Majesty's Service which was a good film but got slated at the time. I have all the 21 Bond movies on DVD and watch them lots of times - better than Chinese TV!!
Two actually
Shows what affect he had on me then.....:D
Got to be Roger Moore,Bond is complete fiction so it may as well be OTT for entertainment....
Connery is definitetly the original though... Would be nice to see a Samuel L Jackson James Bond as well..
I like roger moore as Bond too. Bond films of the time were all about ott scenarios and over the top effects and he brings a humour to the role with some of his classic one liners and funny looks at the enemy :d
but I think that was maybe because the films started getting really stupid with invisible cars etc.
and what about all the mad stupid things q made for bond in every film before that?
the invisible car is the most likely gadget that can be invented

Are you on drugs? He's American!

I liked Moore up till Moonraker, after that I felt he was too humourous, and the films themselves after Moonraker where not too good. Moore in L&LD and TMWTGG was an excellent Bond, he was "very toight", lean and had the classic Bond ruthless edge.
It will always be Connery then Moore for me. Hopefully Craig can come third on my list, I thought he was excellent in Casino Royale. Remember, Bond is a ruthless killer, ever so slightly on the edge of sanity, that's how Fleming wrote him.
