keancy Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 Ok, so we went out this morning and on the way home the Hubby floored the car a little. As it should the traction control kicked in when the ass end tried to fall out and it cut the power but............. The traction control light (green) appears on the dash but then it stays on and the car drives like MRS.Daisy from then on until you literally stop turn off the engine and restart it, then the light goes and the car drives normal again. Normal skid its ok activates and goes off, but if i welly it the TC stays on for ages, easily cured (on mine) by turning TC off and on again. Same as Dwayne, so sorry no help! It wouldnt rev high or pull fast until you switched the traction control off and then back on again or until you travel at a steady speed for a little while. If the traction control has to cut a lot of power to regain control then it will stay in granny mode. Granny mode can be removed by either turning traction control off and on again or by flooring it.
