vvteye
556 ponies a racing. Well I have finally picked up the car after a major mapping spell with the OMEX 710 ECU. The work Dave has done mapping this car and the assistance Jody has given in terms of the autoelectrics is nothing short of awesome. As a VVTI they had to start from absolute scratch and although there are some tweaks to be done and my RLTC to go on the car is pretty damn good now. I am yet to experience full power as even at 90 leptons (on an empty dual carriage way) I floored it in 4th and it wheel spun Thye did the power run in 6th and I had to chuckle when the readout says it obtained peak power at 167mph. I'll be so dissappointed if the power drops off after that It's good to know it's there and that the RLTC will offer some assistance in maintaining grip on the straights when the boost comes in but for the next few months I will be mostly following Dougs winter driving tips, whilst washing the sh*t out of my pants during the breaks See you all at Suprapod in April... And to all at Interpro... I thank you for turning my nightmare into a dream come true

Chris Wilson
Omex used to have some connection (commercially) with the product now sold by Racelogic. It was sold as an Omex product, many years ago. I have always suspected racelogic don't make it themselves, and buy it in, but i could be wrong. Very old demon Tweaks catalogues show an identical box to the Racelogic one, but sold as an Omex product.
vvteye
Thanks for the history Chris..... Being non technical I was amazed at why it was taking so long to pin out then map but when I saw the functionality here http://www.omextechnology.co.uk/Ecus/710/omem710.htm I realised how difficult this must be. Happy days ahead though
