Under carpet line sub and amps build?

Not sure if anyone has done anything similar before?.....I am sure they have. It was a sod to follow the lines of the boot, when making, but my god a 2000w inverted sub in this sort of enclosure kicks!

I am now selling the complete build and all the components in the need for more speed.

Why do people place sub's upside down when doing a custom job & Why is it not like that with sub box's?

it looks better inverted

but the "real" reason :- the human body can't determin where the sound of bass comes from
( that why in a home surround sound system for examplethe bass box can be hind be hind a sofa or the tv)

That is not strictly true... VERY low bass is just air movement as far as human hearing goes, however most sub/amp combo's go into the audible range which when the sub is inverted the majority of the sound waves are pushed into the box due to the magnet restricting rear air movement.
