Tricky-Ricky
Washed the Supra this morning, and discovered something interesting, i now have quite a few rust marks on the paint which will come off with a careful scrape of the nail, but a pain none the less, thinking back to when i resprayed my S14 Silvia, i noticed the exact same thing, and at the time i blamed a bad batch of paint as even after polishing etc it kept coming back. so now I'm thinking it has to come from either metallic particles from brake pads, i live on a main road and there are lots of busses trucks etc, or its got something to do with the salt that they put on the roads for ice, valet paid for by local council me thinks;)
Rossyboy
Do any other cars in your road suffer the same? Or is it just down to new paint maybe? (Not that i know anything about it!!)
Guest CoolsBlue
must be winter, when i bought all my second hand body parts in silver, and fitted them, they matched well, now its cold i have a multicolour supra!
Tricky-Ricky
Mine is the only white car in the road, and its different paint from last time, it has got to be an airborne contaminant.
Rossyboy
I can't think of anything metallic airborne other than brake dust so you might be on to something there! Definately worth a pop at the council tho... get some council tax back!!!
