its incredibly irritating and makes the thread hard to read.

No thanks, but if you crave this kind of thing there are plenty of other forums that will let you display your "wonderful" pictures.

I would hate this to happen. It sounds like a good idea, but when you try to read a thread where every poster has a photo of their car at the bottom of each post, it's very disjointed and not easy to read.

have to agree with the others. bad idea. i've seen forums with adverts etc between posts, not only does it slow the site down but it becomes a bit of a monkey shambles and can be hard to read.

mawbs put in a bit of code that specifically stops people quoting pictures. It doesnt parse the link in a quote and so its just a link and not a picture. We learn a lot from other forums ;)
