Keep the Supra or Sell

While driving my Supra the other night, as per usual, I get flagged by a guy driving to my left, I open the window and he says “Nice car do you want to sell it?” So I reply “maybe…?” So we pulled over to the side of the road to have a chat and exchanged details.

I recently put my car up for sale, (not that I wanted to because I just love my Supra and she is pretty much mint) but did not get any sensible offers, and now feel strongly about keeping it and finishing the project, so I am currently not committed to selling her. Suddenly someone wants to buy her and do the deal at the price I wanted too.

In this weather the past week I have not managed to wash the supra at all and it was really filthy, nice to see that it still looks good and draws attention even when really dirty

Anyway the guy seems really genuine really interested and wants to do the deal – so he is coming round to see the car properly during the daytime in the next few days.

For practical reasons it’s a sensible decision to sell, on the other hand I don’t really want to sell it and will be really gutted, what should I do Sell or Keep?

How much was he offering? You could make a bit of a profit You can always buys another one!

Question you have to ask, what will fill the hole it leaves when its gone, and what will put the smile on your face that it did when you hit the loud pedal.

If you cant answer this, keep it.

I can't seem to make a decision, just before xmas too and I will be stuck without a motor until I get something more practical then will be looking for a Supra TT next summer.....fingers crossed.

Well if you really want a TT then i would say sell if defo as their are loads of bargin TT's about at the mo being winter and all! You could end up getting a good price for yours and moving into a TT with little extra to pay! What a Xmas present that would be

That's so true. For me, nothing will compare to the Supra right now I am still enjoying every minute in it, but I may have to give her up for practicality reasons and go back to a 4 door saloon for a short while.

For a 1994 NA auto, I would say yes. Although I don't know how many miles it has on the clock.

Looking for another car can be a headache, it took me 4 months to find this one. Then again I didn't know about this site when I was looking so it should be easier in the future to find a TT I guess.

The guy came round today to look at the car while I was waxing it, and I think he loved it, we have provisionally agreed a price and he should be coming back next week to check all the paperwork and a test drive. He has a deposit on another car that he might be getting back now that he has seen my supra. Have to just wait and see now...?
