Whats a really good mobile phone to get? :)
i like my iphone.. so far
you might want to specify things you are looking for in a phone, and price you want to pay, otherwise the replies will be very varied. ;)
I always like SE stuff myself - don't by Moto unless you're mad! lol

I have a Samsung D900, works fine for me. I can phone people and I am told I can also take pictures, take videos, listen to music and send texts, but I have yet to work out how to do it.

I want to ring people :p
Dunno really just the normal. Ring, text, take pictures etc.
My budget is £200 max.

Go to tesco and buy one for a tenner
I want a viewty but they're too costly, and will probably be common due to marketing. Might have to be a U100 instead.
Get the iPhone :)
Why not LG Viewty? Same stuff, but with better camera and 3G :p

WOOHOOO My LG Viewty is arriving on tuesday, i onle phoned t-mobile to see how much my bill was and turns out i was due an upgrade. Cant wait to get it now.
I hear the touchscreen is rubbish on the Viewty, there's no lens cover, the zoom is awkward to use, no Wi-Fi and only 90mb of memory. I was initially very excited but it seems pretty flawed.

I've got the viewty and i think it's a good phone! Your right there is no lens cover which is a bit wierd, and the camera isn't as good as i expected, but i have a 2gb memory stick so that sorted the memory problem out and i think the touchscreen is fine.
Fair enough, if you like it that's cool, but as far as I'm concerned the N95 Black is the best phone around right now. No touch screeen or whatever but 5mp camera, Wi-Fi, 8gb of on board memory, incredible screen, GPS and all the bugs from the normal N95 ironed out. Just a shame it's only on Vodafone.
The N95 and others (like the Viewty actually) are too big a bulky for me though (hence the U100 option) - only trouble with my current X820 and the U100 is that the camera is pap!! Otherwise I wouldn't even bother upgrading.
the n95 has exactly the same stuff as the new samsung, i like the samsung as its less bulky and imo it looks better :)
I like the G800 and would be tempted but as far as comparisons go there's no wi-fi, no GPS, no 8gb memory and the N95 Black actually weighs one gram less, is 2.5mm shorter and just 1mm wider and 2.2mm thicker, has a bigger screen, better talk time and standby time - in fact, the only thing the G800 has over the N95 is the optical zoom. So, they're not exactly the same... :p
