Jamesy Posted December 8, 2007 Share Posted December 8, 2007 .....just noticed yesterday after a lot of rain in the area...both my new front discs seem to have gone a golden kinda colour, looks a bit like mild russty colour - iwill that just wash off? seems a bit strange as their brand new...or maybe that is why they have dis-coloured temporarily?? boombastictiger Posted December 8, 2007 Share Posted December 8, 2007 happans to mine all the time....i think its a reaction to water, after everytime i wash my car they go that rusty colour, nothing to worry about though as you drive it will get cleared off by the pads.... My discs arnt OEM and it happans on them, HOWEVER on my rears that are OEM they dont get any rusty, maybe there is a way to stop it???
