Ibrar - while you are on this subject, what are the Falkens like on the supra (BPU and thinking of going single).

would like good dry grip and very good wet grip with less risk of aquaplaning. Also low road noise. I have Eagle F1s at the moment and think if they are on par with the eagle then certainly worth it.

Not really on par with the F1's but still good all the same, maybe somebody who has done a side by side comparison can comment further.

I can get hold of the Coopers, but wouldn't recommend them I have seen loads cracking/splitting around the sidewall.

Thanks for the tyres the other day mate
- I had the geo setup done yesterday and the chap reckons they're not that badly buckled; the runout was withing tolerance. However there is a wobble at 90leptons ish so I'll get new ones someday, anyway.

They wobble about a lot when spun on the balancing machine; the edges of the rims moving towards/away as you look at it. Measured through 4 points at the geo place yeserday as 'bad, but within tolerance'. Ibrar pointed out that one has a nick in the rim, too. They hold air and balanced though, so they're not THAT bad.

Are you absolutely sure the wheels were mounted on the balancer correctly?

They were fine when I last had them balanced and after then nothing (including the non-wheel-impacting slide I had, which you know about) happened to them which would have caused any buckling.

Seems a bit odd that more than one wheel has apparently become 'buckled'.

Get an independent second opinion mate.
Ibrar checked them by eye on the machine (and then showed me), then they were laser-checked at the geo place. Hmmm. I'm not worried as they aren't that bad, if at all. I'll get a 3rd opinion. :D
