Hi i have owned this car for about five months and have only used it about five times, i want to start my own business so im afraid the supra has to go. I have a post in the chat asking what its worth .As far is i no it was imported from new its has had 4 owners the 2nd owner 'pozzy111' spent alot of money on the mods as you can see from the spec. No offence...but you'll open up your target market by tearing off the stickers and that rear wing!!!

IMO it's spoiling an otherwise nice car. Take 'em off and do some new piccies! :)

Very nice spec & price as what Gaz has already mentioned.

What registration is it mate: S, T or V?

Best of luck with the sale;)

Got to agree with this :)

The stickers and horrible wing are devaluing that car massively. A late model car like this is going to appeal to those with a bit of cash to spend so are not likely to appreciate the chav tack.

Nice car otherwise and with the it looking the part it should be an easy sale.

It would be well worth contacting Jurgen as he has a few contacts that can sell special/nicely speced cars abroad.

I can't imagine anyone buying it for anything like it's real value with those stickers and that spoiler.

As an aside, are you really going to set up in business when you can't tell the difference, among many other grammatical things, between 'no' and 'know'?

I was thinking it would be okay with the stickers, but after a quick look it would be an idea to remove them to make it more appealing:)

Nice car if the fast and furious stickers are removed!
Whats the mileage?

Some big-spec cars can pull off the more in your face styling, but probably does hit the value though.

Why make comments on grammar though? Hardly a hanging offence, lighten up!

Not suggesting for a moment that anyone should be hanged, lighten up mate :p but I do wonder about the impression a client, bank manager or other professional would have if they were doing business with someone who spelled like a 8 year old.

Dude, you need to take some new shots as these were the only ones of decent size! Take off the stupid stripes, ditch the spoiler and you'll get much more interest. BTW the last shot with the 'V' reg - is this the same car as no bodykit, spoiler or decals and no personal registration number?

I have said before that many people take the English language too casual these days as Hogmaw is pointing out and I have as I teach Chinese how to speak English - correctly - which doesn't take much!

We all make mistakes, but I'd still get 9/10 for my sentence. Which isn't bad. The post I'm talking about would have got a 3, and many of our foreign members would put many of us to shame with their excellent English.

Anyway the point I was making was that I genuinely want to know about 460Supra's new business, and if he thinks he may be at a disadvantage because of his limited abilities in written English? Or if people just don't care any more?

We know this car very well and anyone who went on Dragonball '06 will also recognise it. I remember seeing all of the receipts for the work done which totalled in excess of 19 big ones! Far from a chav car I think:D
I can see what people mean about the graphics but do like the spoiler on the rear, it compliments the car from head on.

Good luck with the sale and your new business.

You're a miserable bunch of feckers:D

The poor guy just wants to sell his car. The funny thing that I find about such criticism is that many of us spend a fortune on changing our Supras and yet some can't even stretch the grey cells to consider the removal of a few decals.

Crazy kids:)

I thought this thread was about selling my car, not spelling and grammar. Thanks for all the positive comments though. Like i said the wing and graphics are removable and looking at other prices and specifications, my car is cheap. I think i have got receipts for about 25k.

I am the first to admit that my spelling and grammar are not up to scratch, but then again i am dyslexic, and as for my business i am a builder/joiner and want to go self employed sick of making other people rich.

Looks like this is going to be one of those good threads!!!

looks like its had a great deal of effort put into the car, good luck mate :)

the pic of the car with no kit, on a v plate is the same car as the other 2 pics with the kit on and a private reg.
i know this as it used to be my car, anybody that is unsure then check my garage for before and after pics with the same v plate on it ( which was my personal plate). for anybody seriously interested in this car and not a spelling test i can say that i spent alot of money on it , when i sold it i think i had around 25k worth of receipts. it was mapped by tdi and they said that it was the first vvti tiptronic to be mapped by them and probaly in this country , they were aiming for for 550-600bhp but due to cooling issues they left it at around 460bhp and said for me to add bonnet vents and oil cooler and take it back, so i added the vents and oil cooler and found out the radiator was blocked so i had a new one fitted but never took it back to tdi to get the extra ponies, its quick enough now without adding another 100+ bhp.
i agree with some on here that maybe its time to lose the wing & grafix as when i was spending cash on the car it wasnt that long after the f&f film and i wanted to try and replicate the orange supra and when the car was finished it was a big hit at our local cruise, to the point where i couldnt leave the car to look at others as mine was always surrounded ,i was blinded by camera flashes and i got rep strain in my arm from lifting the bonnet constantly to show:). a cars styling is personal choice and not what other people think but its been a while since the film and styling changes like fashion. if i was going to buy the car back i wouldnt be put off by it , i would take the grafixs off and change the wing myself as i know what money has been spent and what
ponies r still to be unleashed
the price i would have thought is about right considering that a standard 99 v tiptronic is selling from 9,000 -around 12,000 add 25,000 of parts/mapping etc 13,000 doesnt sound that far out to me
anybody have any questions about the car that 460supra cant answer then give me a shout as im off to email some people on the autotrader about the spelling of their car adverts:p

A pertinent question here. You say it could produce xyz power with a remap. Who exactly has mapped it to the settings its on now and how long has it been on that map?

it was mapped by tdi-plc in essex in 2003, they couldnt map it to its full because of detonation so they mapped it to a safe setting until the cooling problem could be sorted which it now is,
every aftermarket performance part i put on that car was to ensure i would get 550- 600bhp as that is what the hks to4r turbo kit is capable of. they told me that it was running around 460bhp at the safe map

Ah thats good. Its not one of the batch of cars mapped by questionable tuners then which is a good thing. So basically its a very fast car that has very real potential to be very very very fast then.

is the car still available? i've got a friend who might be interested it Single tiptronic
but I'm pretty sure that stickers, rear wing and maybe even the bodykit would put him off - he would need to convert the exterior "back to normal"
however single tiptronic is so difficult to get hold of that he might be still interested
do you have any pictures of the interior and better picture of the engine bay?
has it been de-limited? (I believe tiptronics have the problem going above 130, am I right?)

Its has a HKS F-Con ECU so it will be delimited I'd imagine.

Thinking of taking the stickers off next weekend so i'll take sum pic's then mate, i dont want to take the rear wing off because i haven't got time to take to a spray shop as for the front bumper would it get enough cooling for the intercooler ?
