Hello all,

I have a Kenwood KNA-DV3200, KVC-1000, setup.

need some advice, as i did not install this setup myself, had it done 'professionally'.

main problem is that when the car is stopped and handbrake is on, the Sat Nav indicator shows you as still moving, even when stationary.
checked the vehicle info and it says car is moving at 26mph when it should be 0mph.

Appreciate if someone can help me on curing this.

manual says that the white wire should be connected to the 'speed signal harness'. wondering if it will be the connector as the problem or the sensor?

cheers in advance,
Ian

you may find that the speed signal wire is either getting the wrong signal or not even connected. Your unit may be working just off GPS. Do juctions appear on screen after youve passed them? like theres a time delay? if this is so, then chances are you are just runnng on GPS alone. Double check the speed pulse wire.

Also, make sure that the white wire has the resistor block inplace before it attaches to the speed signal wire.

Thanks Kev, for the advice, i will look into what you suggest as options. I wonder if the resistor block is in place too.
Appreciate your help and hope it is something this simple

cheers
Ian
