Got so much did on the car today its unreal. Can't believe the build quality of the supra, it made it soooooooo much easier to get things on and off correctly.
Since 10 o clock this morning I:
Stripped out all the interior required including the rear seats etc.
Removed the Dash
Removed the Stereo
Removed all the wiring that as there for a previous amp
Removed front and rear speakers
Removed Broken Aerial
Installed new power Aerial
Fitted my new 3000w Dual amp wiring kit
Laid in all the cabling for my Carputer
Laid in all the cabling for my VGA Touchscreen
Installed the rear speakers
Routed speaker wire to where amp is going to be
Replaced all of the interior minus a couple of panels in the boot
Basically my last big job to do is sort out the layout in the boot. I made a sub enclosure yesterday which fits nicely while leaving the spare wheel in place and accessible.
Never had any experience with false floors etc so should be interesting.
Left to do:
Plug in and mount stereo
Plug in and mount VGA touchscreen monitor
Make 6.5" mounts for the front
Install front speakers
Replace dash
Put sub enclosure in place
Make left side false floor with Sub Amp
Make right side false floor with Speaker amp, Powercap and distributer
Make front side false floor with carputer
Cover all above with leatherette
Wire in power aerial (thinking about a switch, either that or amp remote)
Replace 2 boot panels
Easy eh lol
Honestly though, can't believe how easy this job has been in comparison to the MR2. Its just built so much better and much much more accessible. Granted there are a lot of things to be removed to get access to some things but they are easily replaced and the fit is perfect.
Phew, that was a longun.
