Help, advice needed!

My friend had an accident with a side impact on the rear passenger-side door. Didn't look too bad on first inspection but have since seen that the rear wheel has taken a knock as well and alignment is well off. Insurance company are being an arse by saying it has to be driven to the garage on Mon to get a quote, but is this safe to drive in this condition? The steering has a mind of it's own, the exhaust is knocking and the side of the car is pretty damaged, neither door will open!

I don't think she should drive it and insurance should send someone to come and look at it. Isn't there a risk of being stopped by the coppers for being unroadworthy etc?

Cheers, just looking for second opinions...
