New Space Flight Sims

coming up for xmas and i thought i might treat myself to a new game. so, what is the newest/best space flight sim game out at the mo.

i absolutely love X3, enjoyed Freelancer, have tried quite a few of the others that i have seen in this area but surely there must be something new to try - x3 must be nearly 3 yrs old by now.

X3 with the X-tended mod. It completely transforms the game, so much more to do and hundreds of new ships and features

I've not seen any other space sims worthwhile since then...
