View Full Version : Supra TT shell (see ad for details)
For my future Supra Project I’m looking to buy a rolling shell at the end of this year or early next year. I only have a few requirements, which are listed below.
For me rolling shell means that I can put some wheels on it and that’s it.
Doesn’t need to have:
Frontbumper, sideskirts, rearbumper, brakes, engine, seats etc. as bare as possible.
I prefer a bonnet and carpet though, however not necessarily needed.
Should have:
- No chassis damage (I don’t mind some (small) dents or scratches)
- Should be a TT shell, either manual or auto.
- Should have all the windows/glass
And offcourse against a good price. If you have one for sale or know somebody please let me know. I might consider a non TT shell, but should be a real good offer.

I believe Matt Harwood advertised Dude's old shell as being for sale recently. Not sure if it sold or not though. Have a quick search and see.

I was down at Phoenix last week & think Dudes old shell was still there not fully 100% sure though give Pheonix a call to find out.

hya mate, how you doing. The GTR was bought to sell overhere, but did not go as planned so keeping that one as a "weekend driver" the supra however will be my big project. Strip it completely and build it up from the ground up.
Always had the supra in mind as a car, wanted to buy it before the FD, however was not allowed by the insurance companies....
But first have to find a decent shell to start with.

Why does it have to be a TT shell?
Because I want a genuine TT, also on paper.
how odd. the shells are the same :S
I know. But the car will go to holland, and overhere (for me) its important that its a genuine TT.

Not odd really as although they are the same shells the details would show it as an SZ and not an RZ and thus if was built as a TT the chassis details would not be correct and therefore not genuine :rolleyes: specially important if exporting
well that is the correct part. Although not very looked after, for me its important to have a genuine TT shell. I know they are the same shell etc. In holland it will always show as a non TT on the license, hence less "expensive."
