Fastest way to launch an N/A ...?

From the few NA auto's I've had the chance to drive hard...

Select Low, put your left foot lightly on the brake, apply the throttle until the wheels are just trying to spin (Should be around 2k rpm). This is the power brake part, but don't do it for too long otherwise it'll cook the trans fluid.

When you are ready to go release the brake and floor the throttle (perhaps best to floor the throttle a tiny bit before releasing), when just off redline, shift to 2 with the throttle on the floor, shift to D a couple of hundred rpm before redline again keeping the throttle down.

It's not good for the transmission but IME it's the best way to get the NA auto going :D

What would happen if you "cook" the transmission fluid?!:innocent: Is it easy to fix ?How long max could you safely powerbrake for?

Not good if you cook it, max 3-4 seconds
