I have for sale a power house racing stage 2+ turbo kit, this is based on a T67 size turbo

this kit has only covered about 3-4 thousand miles, and is in tip top condition

i am only selling this due to going bigger turbo ;)

i am looking for £2200 for this kit, will give any advice needed to the buyer on fitting

included is
PHR stage 2+ turbo (fully polished)
HKS manifold
HKS GT 60mm external wastegate
Screamer pipe
Down pipe (has a boss for wideband+hole for EGT probe, have bungs for both)
mid pipe (will match up with any cat back exhaust)

All the above items have been "extreme 2000" heat coated and also heat wrapped for maximum insulation (£200 worth of wrap+sealant)

K+N airfilter
powder coated intake pipe (with take off for breather)
Stainless steel Drop down pipe (mates up with intercooler)
all oil ines
all silicon hose joints
Custom cold air box, only one in the world ! (when bonnet is shut, creates a sealed box preventing any hot air being sucked in) chromed, uses factory tapped holes in the chassis leg

plug oil feed for back turbo

the fit and finish of this kit is second to none, ask anyone on here that has seen the car :)

from the PHR web site

We label the PHR Stage 2+ kit as the "street killer" turbo system. This is because the PHR Stage 2+ Turbo System has made quite a name for itself in the past few years by single handedly killing off the competition one race at a time. With similar boost response to the Stage 2 System, the Stage 2+ (GT67) turbo can provide approximately 30 more RWHP over the Stage 2 (GT62) turbocharger and still maintain peak torque by 4800 RPM. The result is a quick-spooling, ultra-powerful turbo setup that makes quick work of the "competition". While upgraded camshafts are not necessary, a street grind such as the HKS 256 or 264 durations would work nicely in conjunction with the PHR Stage 2+ System. The Stage 2+ System includes the original top-quality HKS 50mm stainless steel header, HKS GT 60mm external wastegate, 65mm 321 stainless steel wastegate dump tube, 3" mandrel bent downpipe with V-band connectors, 3" mandrel bent midpipe with V-band connectors, 2.5" mandrel bent aluminum drop-down style intercooler piping, high gloss 3-ply silicone connectors in red, blue, or black, 4" air intake tube, 4" K&N high flow air filter, GT67 turbocharger with polished PHR compressor housing, 10AN stainless steel braided oil drain line, 4AN Teflon stainless steel oil feed line, 4AN Teflon stainless steel wastegate control lines, stainless steel turbocharger gaskets, stainless steel locking exhaust manifold nuts, stainless steel hose clamps, and all hardware for a worry-free install. As an added bonus, the downpipe includes an oxygen sensor flange for the Toyota unit, as well as an 18mm bung for a wideband sensor. The HKS exhaust manifold and all exhaust components are fully Extreme 2000 black heat coated for durability and heat reduction, and all intercooler piping is ceramic coated to reduce thermal conductivity.

Is that fitted price? is it still on the car, you never did take me out in it on dragonball.:)

uk-rich
28-11-07, 07:58
no its not a fitted price, its dead easy to fit really just normal spannering, the hardest job is getting the twins off, however there is a thread/guide on here, as i said the fit is spot on

i will put some pics up of it on the car, and removed from the car in the next day or so

What a setup, would love it :D what else would u need to finish it off? Fuel rail, injectors, decent fmic and EMS? Good clutch too :D

uk-rich
29-11-07, 22:47
all depends on how much boost you want to run, you could run it on standard stuff, but just limit the boost
and some sort of ecu

uk-rich

So what else would be needed to make this run then? Fuel kit and ECU? from BPU.

For what is included in this kit its a good price.

No messing buying extras for the turbo side or anything, just fit it and go!

Obviously if running higher boost then a fuel kit and ecu would be wise :)

smarty
02-12-07, 21:27
Have to agree Rob, this is a great price for what is a total bolt on kit. Anybody who can hold a spanner should be able to fit this kit. Its all there ready to go. No extras are needed.

The only extras i would do is add a piggyback/standalone ECU with some larger injectors so i could run an increased boost pressure.

If i hadnt already got my self set on the Boostlogic kit i would go for this.

Good luck with the sale :)

How responsive is this?

Is this PHR's equivalent of a BLT67....what cams did you run?
What injectors?
Just thinking if you ran motec, my base map would be pretty much like yours,

I'm running motec m600, 720cc siemens injectors, HKS 264/264 is your car VVTi?

uk-rich
03-12-07, 13:49
it was running with 256 intake and 256 exhaust cams, yes it is the same size as a T67 turbo
i ran 850's cc seimens injsctors, only because that what came with the fuel kit i got, way way big enough

car is a uk, so non VVTi

I've got a few questions, hope you don't mind.... :D

Do you have any dyno print outs?
Do you have the compressor housing pressure tapping fitting?
Do you have the wastgate pressure feed line (from compressor housing)?
Have you got the clamps for the intercooler piping and if so are they jubilees or Mikalors?

What are you upgrading to, and why not just change the tubby? Are you going for a V band T51-R or T6 manifold/turbo or something equally serious? :)

How did the car drive with this kit on? What sort of rpm/boost figures were typical in say 4th gear on a flat road? 1.2bar by 4000rpm?

uk-rich
03-12-07, 14:13
no probs
i did, feck knows where they are now, looked for hours the other night

yes i have the fitting

yes, but i might be using it on my new set-up if it fits, will suply another one if thats the case

yes and they are mikalors

i have a T51 kai bb, which is v band hence the sale

the car drove really well, easlily 1.2 bar by 4000 rpm in forth, pulls really well, and the sounds

What sort of figures did the car make Rich and what rolling road? I may well have missed old threads where you posted/discussed this - sorry if that's the case.

uk-rich
03-12-07, 14:24
it was tuned at noble motorsport in derbyshire, the car made 570 bhp and that was on a piss poor warm day

Is This kit a Ball bearing or Plain bearing type Turbo?

What are the A/R's and the rest of the Turbo Specs? I can make out Turbine exducer is 67mm?

Cheers
