Well I want to get a pair ordered and delivered from Steve Manley before Christmas.

But before I order, what will I need to do to fit them?

Do i need to put the old ones in the oven and reglue the glass on? OR is it simply taking the jspec unit off, and taking the insides out and fitting them into the ukspec and installing that?

Any newb tips for me welcome becuase I know this is a much needed upgrade as the lights are so letting the car down.

Thanks

Carl

The headlights come as a complete housing, they are a straight swap. It is an easy DIY job, just a few bolts to undo each side, disconnect the bulbs, then pull the whole housing out and swap with the new one.

If you are swapping from J-spec headlights to UK spec then you will need to buy new low beam bulbs (the others will swap over into the new housing).

Your could buy the switch for the hieght adjustment and wire it up so they could be adjustable.

Not worth it imo.

You will find after fitting the UK glass headlamps that for some strange reason the o/s lamp will be facing into a n/s ditch and the n/s one will be facing high in the sky, so your beam aim will require adjusting.
