..... When ignition is off.. Anyone any ideas why this is happening?

Has this just changed ? Or always been like it mate ? If it's always been like it then I would check how your switched live is wired up, usually you have a blue wire from head unit which sends a +ve signal to your amp when the head unit is switched on - this then switches the amp on :)

Has to have been wired in to a constant live rather than a live driven by the ignition, needs to be changed really

Awww thinking about it its wired directly from the battery.. Its not to much of a drain just annoying....

there is normaly a thin small wire run up the centre of the rca leads i use this as above from head unit to remote on amp

Yeah it is supposed to be wired directly to the battery, but the small blue (usually) wire which comes from the head unit and is labelled "remote" or "power antenna", is used to trigger the amps to come on/off with the head unit.

Interesting.. when my headunit goes off the electrical aerial will go down..... Ill have to check it out.
