Hey Guys and Girls,

Know this is like asking for a needle in the preverbal haystack but my stepson who's autistic is desperately after a Nintendo Wii for Christmas.

As no doubt everyone knows these are like golddust which makes no sense as Nintendo must be losing millions at the moment as nowhere has any.

If you can offer a lead or know where I can get one for the retail price not the doubled up ones on ebay, let me know via PM please.

If you're out at the shops and see one please grab it and i'll pay you via bank transfer or even on collection as we really need to get this to make his Christmas.

Ideally looking for a UK supplied one so we don't need the plug converter and the warranty is valid without question.

Might consider it as a last resort although some less criminal offers on ebay for them! ;):D

I think Game have the large bundles in stock, but they are £300+, normal console should be around the £170 mark.

Depends on the kit. I don't think that kit comes with a nunchuck.

I know people that have them but will only sell them on eBay as they know they'll get £260+ for them.

the basic kit comes with 1 contoller including nun chuck.... unless they have changed it.

:yeahthat: I've been told that they're identical, as we don't actually have a UK only version, its a European one with a 3 pin plug. If you can get one from Amazon Germany, then the warranty etc is still valid over here.

I gt mine through www.sendit.com for £180 delivered, about 4 weeks ago. Good luck with your search. :)

I'm waiting to hear back from Coldflame who has a PM and will wait to hear back on any other useful links/suggestions anyone has in the meantime.

Hopefully one of these will produce the goods as being the first Christmas with us as a family I hardly want to be the guy who failed to get him what he wants! Reminds me of that Arnie film with the turboman doll!!!!

Never ceases to amaze me how this manufacturers fail to cater for demand despite the huge amount of money they are losing every minute! :tongue::rolleyes:

i used to have a website that would email once it found stock, but i have just got my laptop back after repairs & have lost all of my cool & useful random bookmarks :( might have been Wii locator or Wii find.... i will ask about & re-post if i find the link :D

you will be lucky if you can find one tbh, as most ppl now are just sharking them for stupid prices, try Big W (woolworths) they were pretty good in helping me find 2 of them local as well

I think its called www.wii-consoles.co.uk. Just sign up and they'll let you know when someone has stock. Unfortunately, recently the stock goes out before their website gets updated!

Put your name down at Blockbuster Video store. They have a 'secret' supply delivered every wednesday :)

Lol, at least they are in stock in the UK (PS3 that is!).

I'm pleased to say I won't be needing it mate as Coldflame off here has tracked me one down and is sending it once I transfer the funds to him. ;):D

I have a Wii with sports package and 2 games, Brand new in the box NEVER opened..

The games are Happy Feet and one other i cant quite remember...

Have you registered here (http://www.wii-consoles.co.uk/)? They'll send you an email every time a store gets new stock. I've been looking for one for a friend. Only problem is no-one is selling them on their own. They are all selling them as a package with games because they know people are so desperate to get one and will pay the price.:rolleyes:

Dixons are good they give you about 12 hours notice. However all the ones they were selling were all £300+ packages.
