De-Cat Question?

Hi!

Picked up my de-cat this week and I was planning to get my local garage to fit it. Should there only be one connector for the O2 sensor?

The decat is to replace the 2nd cat. I take it the first O2 sensor is near the first de-cat?

Also does anyone have any pics of the fitting where the O2 sensor goes and how it fits to the de cat. Mine is a bit rusty where the fitting goes and the hole looks blocked. I have never dealt with stuff like this before so I am worried that the garage might run into problems!

The O2 sensors are by the 1st one H. The one I bought had a hole to put something in (was off a TT), but it allowed a big nut to be screwed onto it as to cover it. Hope that helps mate. There is a guide somewhere of how to do the 02 sensors, where they are etc.

Job done in 10 mins H. With pics too. What a club. :)

I changed my 2nd decat over in minutes before meeting you at the second to last pancake run. Easy job if you can get under the car.

I realise it's a straight forwad job from the pipework point of view but I have a brand new £3000 drive, it's minus 37 degrees outside and I have two people I know that have garages with ramps. I bet they'll charge me a tenner to get it fitted. It just isn't worth the hassle!!;)

Ah right!

There is a blank on the pipe that looks really like an O2 sensor connection!
