I voted other as I always loved the Pagani
A lot of those cars aren't supercars.

Likewise, not because I think it's better or more "super" than the others listed, just because I really want a Zonda F.
wheres the lambo con-tash? thats my all time favorite

yes i know that it was just a bit of fun i really didn't expect people to pull it to pieces
unfortunately i've not seen the official Supercar list and i'm also aware some are classed as Hypercars, not Supercars but hey...
and yes i was restricted to just 20, i'm sure i could think of many more.
Corvette C5/C6 Z06 - best value for money. :D
what about the jaguar xj220?
There is no new GT40, it's just called GT.
I've voted for the F40 btw.
Diablo - it defined the word supercar and set the standard. :)
I went for the McLaren F1. It was designed to be the best car out there, and it's still up there with the best supercars of today, even though it was made at the same time as our Supras! The Veyron is an over-budget publicity stunt, which, IMO, looks awful. I wouldn't say no to the performance, but put in a different bodyshell first! :)

GT40 for me..

Diablo out of that list for me too. I can see why people pick the Mc F1, but the Veryon can't be the "greatest supercar" IMO, purely because it's too civilised!

Couldn't have put it better myself.

the front looks a little like 350Z and the rear an Exige or even a corvette ?
not sure if i like the look of it ?
I went for the speed 12, gotta love that sound.
Has to be the Mclaren F1.
GT40, old school.... classic...
I went for the 911 Turbo!!
Been around for years and seems to get better and better. Maybe I'm biased as I am leaning towards the German marque for my next toy!!:eyebrows:

Exactly my thoughts,
Got to be the F1 for me
Bugatti Veyron for me awesome vehicle, followed by the eternal & usable 911.
Exactly. No brainer at all it's the McLaren F1. Good to see the clever people also made that choice :)
JUST IN CASE YOU NEED REMINDING!

It's not on the list, and is now dated, but it set the standards for all others, styling wise, and technologically, at the time. Lamborghini Miura.

Tiff gets it right in that video. Owning an Enzo, you know that one day, it WILL be replaced. The McLaren F1 will exist as THE McLaren Flagship.
After my lottery win tomorrow night, my neighbour gets her 1/18th of it (as per our deal....women ), the Supra will be perfected, the Corsa will be savagely sold/crushed and a garaged F1 will be bought. Ahhhhh...Monday will be bliss. Unless I don't win, in which case, Monday'll be another 8 hour drag through til 4.30 :d

Did the "Lamborghini Miura" not technologically take off at high speed Chris?

I have driven one at pretty high speed and whilst no Group C car with 3000 pounds of downforce I don't recall it feeling particularly floaty at speed. Someone did manage to spectacularly write it off a few weeks later though ;)
In those days aerodynamics on road cars were pretty crude to none existent.
