Dipped headlights - fuse?

Right, my headlights have died on the supe, and my footwell fusebox has no lid! I've checked both bulbs, (after buying some more, no doubt!) and they're fine!

which fuse in the box is for the dipped lights? a diagram would be great, I can't seem to find one!

many thanks

Well, not simultaneosly - I was running around before hand with one bulb for god knows how long! could have well been blown since I bought the car - I really can't re call.. I would have thought I would have checked, but my memory really can't recall! The other went a few days ago y'see..

Do you know which fuses are the dipped? they don't appear to be labelled on the diagram!

cheers

right, I've had a look, and theres a 'head' relay - there's a click from the bonnet box so I'd guess theres definatley a fuse for it in there somewhere -

is there no fuse and just a relay? is there another relay I can use for the lights for the time being?

Mine has a spade fuse for every bulb in the fuse box in the engine bay, if you cant see it on the label just go through it and check every fuse to see if one/both are blown. Dont put a higher rated fuse in as there maybe a reason why theyre blowing and you wouldnt want to damage something.

thanks robin - My granddad's burrowed my multi meter, but from what I've gathered, the switch is fine as you hear the click in the bonnet when you engage it - this would indicate that the relay was fine too but I'm not sure so will check the wiring to the lights for any faults and see where that brings me!

just a thought really, but one headlight was out weeks before this one - yet as far as I can see, the bulb hasn't blown either. now I can hear the relay click, which suggests the switch and relay are fine, and the fact that they didnt blow simultaneously suggests it is neither a switch or relay -

are the headlight fuses definatley in the bonnet fuse box? I'm running out of ideas if so, as everything is pointing towards blown fuses?
