sounds like you have some mega problems mate

A calibra turbo i had used to do that - used to over heat, although the temp gaguge never rose, and the fan never kicked in.

Turned out my head had cracked, and it set alight on me one day when the oil ran onto the red hot turbo

Was a nice pre bonfire night i can tell ya!

Need to give more information.

Stab in the dark... dodgy alternator/battery not being able to run the electrics. Idle control valve not right (idling to low it stalls)..

However need a lot more info before making a call.

Well the battery is brand new and i checked the alternator and thats fine.?? It only happens when im sitting in traffic for about 20mins and then the whole car shuts off, the stereo goes off for a split sec and then it comes back on. I then just slap in into neutral and she starts again no problem.?

Hows your clutch control;)

Check your earths to the body as well as the batt terminals.

Does the ignition still light up or is it as if someone has just disconnected the battery?

Cables are all gud, car just cuts out but all the electrics stayson inside. Its like the car is on a timer at low revs and switches off when idling too long. ???
