Black ash, as per the pic.

Slimmer than most floorstanders, but give good quality sound. Won the What Hi-Fi award at the time I bought them, and I only purchased them after hearing demos with a number of speakers (KEF, B&W etc) and I liked these the best. New (about 6.5 years ago), they were £750. Can be bi-wired (which is how I was using them).

I found I suffered from bass boom in my lounge too much, so have changed to bookshelf type speakers a few months ago.

Excellent condition (if I remember correctly - they are currently in a cupboard). I think I probably have the manual, but won't swear to it. I'm also fairly sure I have the box, but the chances of me going up into the loft to get it are slim.

You can hear them work before purchase if necessary.
