Hi all

i started the blue L.E.D dash conversion today :)

never soldered in my life :blink: but i done it :D

i'm well pleased with myself ;)

here's what it look's like when dark , i still need to do 4 more bulb's in the heater panel which light's up the switch's !! & the mileometer but still not bad :sly:

very smart! been dyin to do this, wot leds did you use and where did u get em if u dont mind me asking. got ones from maplins that werent so bright!

 

 

they are 509T blue L.E.D !! off e-bay !!

 

i took the bulb's out of there casing & used them because they have already been fitted with resistor's which make's the job alot more simple ;)

looking good mate, how many LEDs did you use to do the gagues ? thats the look i am trying to get and what spec LEDs are they?

the dial's are normal white standard bulb's it's only the fact i purchased new brushed alley dial's that was fitted with a blue gel coat that's given that effect:)

i might even go for full el-glow now after i get the crash damage sorted

 

here's how bright they look in daylight hour's ;)

but go dim once you turn your light's on :( but i think that's a good:idea:
