Slip control help.

Since I've had my Supra I've always had the slip control on.

The first time I removed the dash I noticed that there was one wire off the back of the slip cont on/off button. When I replaced the dash I left the wire as it was, and all seemed well, the button still turned slip cont on/off.

Today however, the button no longer works and the orange "slip cont off" light flashes constantly.

Will re-attaching the removed wire fix this? It seems strange as it worked previously with the missing wire. :search:

Thanks for any ideas.

:) Maybe you knocked the wire off the when you took the dash off ? Or the one that was attached has worked loose maybe ?

I thought I may have knocked it off when I took the dash off, but seeing as the button still worked, I assumed it had been disconnected maybe to stop an annoying light or alarm or something. This is the first Supra I've owned, so I'm still finding my way around.

I guess I'll hook the wire back up and see what happens.

Another thought was that wire has grounded it's self against some metal, and is causing it to stay in the "off" mode.
