opinion on my interior plz....

right after months of moaning from the misses for having all my dash and seats in the house, i can finally say its done..... yeah right!!!!

here's what iv done.

re-trimmed my seats, ash tray, gear gaiter, door panels, door handles, and rear speaker covers.

painted my dash in merc white but here's the funny thing.. im not happy with it.. i think iv gone abit mental with the white???

who thinks i should paint it black and piss the misses off again!!!!!

I quite like it, but hey its your car

love the door cards etc but who done ur seats they dont look right

Leave it, it's nice and unique.

Dont think you will notice any slight discrepancies in the seats once they are in

I know of a few done like this. I like it. Gives it some more life.

All black interior on an all black car might be too much. The white is a good contrast.

I think the seats look pretty good actually. Half tempted to do likewise as not a hope I can afford a full retrim just at the moment.

Do what feels right for you if you don't like it and don't like it she'll get fed up of you winging!!

Its good to be different though and you've put a lot of work into it, well done for doing it

Idea... live with it for a couple of weeks, if you still don't like it then, think about changing it. You have to live with the way your car looks for years, your missus will only be in a strop for a day or two...!

I think it looks okay overall, but you should have placed the crossovers behind the panel, did you paint the dash...if so what with?

I like the speaker pods except i would have hidden the crossovers. did you make it yourself?

Unsure. The dash on these cars are awkward in that whatever you do they still look awful imo, even if left stock. There's only so much you can do with such an expansive dash.

It looks superb in my opinion. Wish I had the skills to do things like that!

Look's good overall. But not sure on the fit of the front seat's.

lol im not a profesional, every thing i have done to this car has been my first time, so im pretty impressed!!! but i do agree when i done the seats i was'nt totally happy but after a couple of weeks most of the creases fell out... its an ezi job to do so im thinkin of re doin them anyway?

cheers silkysmooth your right i do need to set the crossovers into the panels, thats my next job on the never ending list!!! i used mercades polor white...

i have a white supra and the thought had crossed my mind to paint the dash white.....

I'm afraid having seen it on yours , I'm convinced to abandon the notion........

looks like you did a good paint job but it looks tacky to me in white - think i'll leave well enough alone
