Just for future reference...how are these on a scale of 1 to 10 for noise level...where 1 is stock and 10 is monster loud???

I would say 8 or 9, very nice deep sound! mmmmmmm i like :D

Paul, I've heard just about every type of exhaust for the Supra, and the Veilside one is the best. Its real loud at WOT, but is actually quiet while cruising. Perfect.

As Paul L says, I'd probably rate it at about 8 or 9 on the loud scale.

If this is an 8 or 9, where would an HKS Hiper be?

The HKS ti is the loudest exhaust on the supe coming in at 8.5/9 and the veilside at 7.5/8, Hiper should come in at about 7.:)

We need an exhaust volume scale or ladder! I think there was one somewhere. Was it in the FAQ even...sorry but I'm too lazy to look :innocent:

Gaz, I'll bear this in mind when I find my next Supe, but it is probably too loud for me.

I would recommend this exhaust to anyone, as Gaz says it's loud at high revs and low whilst cruisin - perfect

It's more of a burble noise, very deep! and very nice....

Jason,

As randy says :)

The Veilside sounds completely different to the Hiper, its smooth deep burble, the hiper is just raw and harsh which I dont like.

I personally feel the Veilside is the best all round exhaust - price, performance, weight, construction, sound.

I did actually :) But alas the drive there it got a bit mucky.. my only issue with it right now is that I have brown marks on the pipe.. like water running down, but I cant seem to get them off.. any suggestions?

Just out of curiosity how much would a HKS Ti set ya back? I will be after a mean loud exhaust in the next few months :D

Bobbeh

£1200? Most expensive I've seen was the top secret Ti which was $1600... but over here would probably sell for £1600

 Well I've just found a HKS Ti much cheaper than that, wondering how much Envy do it for

They are about a grand ish for a HKS Racing Ti - remember they do 2 models - the Ti (cheaper) and the Racing Ti (expensive).
