Yep... so take the restrictor ring out, file the hole out so its a bigger diameter which will cause less back pressure and the turbos will boost more. Just file it a little bit at a time or you'll end up hitting more than 1.2bar. Trial and error mate :)

Don't forget though, in hotter weather you'll boost less than when its cold. so if its boosting at 1.1bar when the outside temp is warm, it'll definately hit 1.2 at night time when its colder

A better way to achieve 1.2bar would be to leave the restrictor ring as it is and fit an electronic boost controller to raise the boost, but this method is a little more expensive.

are boost controllers easy to fit?? how much should i file at a time??

I've never fitted a boost controller so can't tell you. I have just bought one though and most come with good english instructions :)

Just file a tiny bit at a time on the restrictor ring, like I said its trial and error on this one. IIRC the diameter should be 52mm to achieve 1.2bar, but every car will be slightly different depending on how well the turbos work etc etc
