...after much help on here i am pleased to say i got my new brakes fitted today.

I have done the following:

Goodridge braided hoses

CW fast road front pads

Brembo 10 groove front discs

DOT 5.1 racing fluid

Also got my new O2 sensor fitted too so i expect to see AT LEAST 40mpg from now on ;)

...what a difference - not only do the new discs look pukka through the wheels now, but its stopping power is incredible...and they're not even bedded in 100% yet!

the pedal is much firmer and i am now a lot more confident about upping the BHP on Friday with the BPU conversion!!!

:)

Guest GirlRacer!
if you buy everything new around £450 plus labour of up to 2 hours for front set up including front and rear hoses. :)

Thats great thank you. Would I need 18" wheels for these as I only have 17s so far?

Where is the best place to buy these brakes from?

Thank you

hiya mate - not sure about wheel size - they are not enourmous but not small either - i have 19" alloys and they is a fair amount of room.

For the pads contact Chris Wilson on this site

Brake fluid i got from Envy but most of the traders will do it

discs from ebay store

..not sure where you can get the braided hoses...i got mine from a member on this site.
