d00gzy
anyone else ever had this problem, just wondered if it was common. Ive had a fair amount of bubbles of water covering the inside of my drivers side headlight. Noticed the seal was a bit loose a few weeks ago so i sealed it and the water doesnt seem to be getting any less. Any ideas? Wot could be my uprgrade options if i cant sort this? facelift lights? edge
Very very common. but they can be refurbished. I done mine myself but need doing again. If not a guy on here does lots of them.
Havard
That picture looks like there is just rain on the outside, that happens occasions....... The lights on Supra's are terrible for steaming up. Gzaerojon did a refurb on mine but you could also do it yourself!! H.
d00gzy
lol, i know wot u mean! that was the only picture i could find of the headlight. Was more for ideas of upgrading rather than showing the water! Will do a wee search on refurbing and see wot i can come up with :-) Like the idea of the angel eye lights but there soo many "ordinary" cars out there with them! Is there anything different? Ive seen the abflug ones as mentioned by nic a while ago http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=86902&highlight=abflug, they look pretty sweet, anyone have them? JODY T
To get the best results, ide buy brand new ones.... THe UK spec Glass are much brighter to look at and arnt that expensive ether.... when u fit them leave the bulbs out for a night to equalise... You should get no condensation atall then... robin
You could remove the headlights, take out the bulbs and dry them out inside and see if they stay dry. If they are leaking and getting damp again you could always get gzaerojon to have a look at them.
