Yes ive done a search and read all the threads and my heads still up my arse.

Ive done the code 42 fix, this didnt cure it. Ive checked speed signal sensors and the connections are fine.

Ive only had this since I changed my engine.
Ive had the clocks out but cant seem to find a speed converter.
The car is still limited but the speedo is in MPH and the ODO is in KMH.

Is there anything else I need to check or anyway I can check no1and 2 speed signal sensors.

I know this problem has had loads of threads outlining the fault but I cant seem to sort the problem.

You may have to find that speedo convertor fella. You say you changed the engine, for the same engine or a TT upgrade?

Just was a replacement TT engine just straight forward 1 out 1 in if you know what i mean.
If I fit 1 of those Thor DCS thingys brhind the speedo will it fix the job.

Probably not as the issue will be the soldering or lack of it at the speedo convertor. you'll have to find that unit and remove it before you do anything else. It may in fact be down in the transmission tunnel area on the speed feed line.

Well I guess I better start pulling the inside of the car to bits and find it then.
I just think its abit strange that its only started after an engine change.
