stingjay
hi just had my bomex front delivered and was just wondering should it be trial fitted without the lights, then put them into see if any trimming is needed. also does anyone keep the inner arches as they are or trim them as it looks like they won't reach to the new bumper, and do you stiil fit any of the undertray from the orignal bumper to the sump tray thanks j
Daston
My TS bumper has no arche liners towards the front or undertray I think the bomex would be the same.
stingjay
cheers daston ,did you fit yours or a bodyshop?
flukey-lukey
I have a bomex front and it had the arch liners still there when I bought the car. Since then I've taken them out due to a little bit of rubbing. Yes, definately give it a test fit without the lights in first

paul mac
hi just had my bomex front delivered and was just wondering should it be trial fitted without the lights, then put them into see if any trimming is needed. also does anyone keep the inner arches as they are or trim them as it looks like they won't reach to the new bumper, and do you stiil fit any of the undertray from the orignal bumper to the sump tray thanks j if you want it to look good and fit proper it stands to reason you should test fit, the only bumper that would go straight on is a stock one from Mr T, mine was on and off loads of times, took quite a bit of hacking and filling, it took about a week to get it spot on, i had no problem with the inner archs and undertray so why ditch them as they are there for a reason

paul mac
thanks paul was yours a bomex rep yes it was and the fit was pretty crap, it took a lot of work to get it looking right
hoff
I put mine straight on. It took ages to take the original off due to all the bolts but the bomex went straight on and was a great fit. If you have pre facelift indicators you will probably have to cut the top bolt of them to make it fit. Quick and easy job though.
R3DG3CKO ROB
make sure you keep the arch linings... the Bomex looks pap without them, very plastic and flimsey looking... I'm trying to get mine fitted again as the bodyshop didn't replace them...
hoff
Did you have them on with your bomex at JAE? I havent got them on mine, it would look better with them.
