just been out in the car and it has started to happen again. the car is idling at 2000rpm, does anyone no how much a new tps will cost? or if any one has a working one how much they want for it........
Unscrew it first and give it a good clean or have you allready tried that?

what do i need to clean it with as it dosent look that dirty, are you on about the sensor itself or the housing that it gose on to...
When it's idling high, try giving the connector on the TPS a good wiggle. If the revs drop, then the problem is in the connector. I took mine apart and made sure that I had good contacts across the connector and the problems have gone away ever since (about 2 years ago)
