Tricky-Ricky
My fog light conversion was done before i got the Supra, and is done as per pic with one relay, now my light failure indicator on the dash has always been on, so i am now getting fed up with it, so can i just add some resisters to pin 87a and run them to earth? and can anyone tell me what value? Supra ST Myster
this is what you want, this will make your bulb light be off, but the only time it will come on is when you have your fogs on and then when you brake, but how often do you have them on!! Thanks, but two questions, i thought the fog light switch provided 12v rather than earth switched? and what do you mean by loom side? would this involve cutting the wires? Supra ST Myster
yes where it says fog light switch, that is the +12V feed, the 0V you can take a wire and connect to chassis also on each cluster you will see a green with a white stipe, cut that and the loom side goes to the middle pin, and the bulb side of the cut cable goes to the bottome
Tricky-Ricky
The green wire actually goes to the light unit not the fog light switch.
Supra ST Myster
ignore how it is done, and re wire my way and it will work!
Tricky-Ricky
Its also totally confusing because you have changed the pin numbers, and they are not in that configuration.
Supra ST Myster
look, you put up a post saying you have a problem with you fog light with a picture, ive have taken a look and if you wire it my way just like how i have drawn it and said about cutting in the loom you wont have that problem, the only time it will come on is when you have your fogs on and next time you apply your brakes, its really for mot really.
