I cant really understand the first part of your question, but here is what I think your getting at!! the reason people use two de-cats...ie one for the 1st cat replacement and one for the second is so one can be easily swapped for MOT's etc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can do this either by fitting one pipe that replaces both cats, or by fitting 2 separate pipes to replace each cat.
