Big Mark
I have stripped out the rear of my car and have 50sq ft of sound deadening to apply but I read a thread saying to put foam into the voids where the rear speakers are as this is where a lot of noise comes from. Only problem is that I can't find any shops around here so was thinking of ordering it from ebay. But just thought, can I use expanding spray foam in a can designed for fillng large gaps? colsoop
I wouldn't use the spray type. Get some fire retardant foam from a furniture supply shop.
Big Mark
That's what I've been trying to do today. This town is useless, only place that could get it said it would take 2 weeks. Looks like ebay or some online store is my best bet then.

Tricky-Ricky
I think there is foam in there as std, but i have used expanding foam in my old S14 to good effect, but there is a paint on sound deadening on Ebay.
Big Mark
Thanks guys. I've already got dynamat type sound deadening but wanted to fill the void with some kind of foam too. Wanted something a few inches thick just so I can stuff it in the void on top of the sounds deadening stuff.
bmx1lew
buy skins sludge, you basicly paint it on so dead easy to apply and does the job fine, as for your back arches stuff them with foam
