VVTI Refurbished Gearbox

This is Jon VVTEYES tiptronic gearbox, it was refurbished about 4k ago, and Jon has since decided to go Manual so this is not needed...

THis was refuebished late last year, and literally has done 4k, the refurb cost jon nearly 2K, so this box is as new...

The gearchanges are faultless and can hardly be felt...

No silly offers on this as its not just a second hand box! its a rebuilt second hand box! :D

Ive just checked the mileage, its not 4k it was 1.7k...

Its practacally brand new :)

Pity, as I just had mine done about 4000miles ago by Mr T and it was £2000 :( Had no idea it was going to be so expensive until after I'd done it....

What did they do in the refurb?

I dont know the ins and outs, to be honest.... Interpro didnt rebuild it...
I know Jon has the invoice though so Ill make him aware of the question...

They took it all apart then rebuilt it changing all the bearings and the cogs which had their teeth smashed in :eyebrows: He started talking complex after that :rolleyes:

If you are really keen I can give you his details (Nottingham garage that specialises in gb rebuilds mostly on german cars like BM's, Mercs and Porches).
