Why not make this the Dec meet - most people keep this free!

Perhaps a different location to make it more special.

Or if its a weekend - try and get somewhere cheap to stay over so we can all have a drink?

Gaz - i wasn't thinking the Hilton :D

No but it's now a monthly meet, and most people seem to think that the Owd Nells one will end up taking over.

This month is on the 24th, I have posted it in the NW events section.

Thats a great idea, perhaps we could look at venues more over the M62 way. Shame the place we went to on the way back from Miami GT was so far out of the way - It would have been a great place to have meet.

I've just rung the owls at Standish and asked whether they could fit us in any week night from the 10th to the 21st December. I said about 30 people, if the Yorkshire chaps are coming to.

She has said that nothing is coming up but if I ring back later they may be able to tell me more. If they can't do 30 people I'll try and find out how many they can do.

Mrs D
14-11-07, 21:01
Right I hope you're all ready for an information overload...
:)

The Owls can do the following dates:

Tuesday 11th December

Thursday 13th December

Tuesday 18th December

Thursday 20th December

We would be eating at 8.30pm (It was either 6.30pm or 8.30pm due to the number of people coming, 30ish, and I thought with people coming from far and wide 8.30pm would be better.)

Now for the food choices, they do a December special which is £7.95 for 3 courses, but she couldn't give me the details of this menu.

The other option is the Festive Menu which is £9.95 for 3 courses and these are the options:

Starters:

Soup
Melon
Black Pudding

Mains:

Turkey
Salmon Fillet
Rib Eye Steak
Mousaka
Vegetable Enchilada's

Desserts:

Choice

We do not need to chose before we go,everyone can pick on the night.

If we want to go here she will need a £5 deposit per person.

Okey dokey thats my job done

Still not sure I understand this, is it
A) a picture of me with my baps out?

B) a picture of me holding a loaf of hovis infront of my baps?

or
C) a picture of me holding a loaf of hovis fully clothed?

Whatever it's not happening, I'm more of a warburton's girl myself!!:p

The idea is to show a picture of yourself with your car etc!

The theory is that you couldn't fake a picture if you were asked to instantly provide a picture carrying a loaf!

If you feel the need to get your babs out then so be it!:d
