Guest mk47
if you are just removing the 2nd cat getting through an MOT will be no problem. £44 seems quite cheap for a decat are you sure its not for a MK3 supra?

Guest mk47
do you have an aftermarket exhaust? NAS wont benefit much at all performance wise from decatting youd mostly just make the exhaust sound louder, 2nd decat is enough id say. it looks like the pic attached. usually between £110-£150 ish new and come in either 2.5'' or 3''

Shane
An alternative is to look out for a cat and hollow it out. I did this on the front cat and down pipes, took a while but works out ok. In the end I discovered a hole saw made fast work of it. I have kept the one I took off in case I need it for the next MOT. I can tell you though, that what has been said here regarding the MOT and having the second cat removed was true in my case. When I had my new exhaust built the second cat was removed and it sailed through the emissions with just the front one on.
hoff
I know someone whos just tried to push out a front cat on an NA. Apparently it took ages and was a real pain in the arse.
Shane
I know someone whos just tried to push out a front cat on an NA. Apparently it took ages and was a real pain in the arse. It started of by being a bit of a mission, until I thought about using a hole saw on a long extension. Just chopped out sections at a time. Reckon if I had thought of that in the first place it would have taken less than an hour.
